In the spring of 2015, Southbridge kicked off a three-year capital campaign with the goal of constructing a permanent building for the church. To date, at total of $734,70 has been pledged/given toward the campaign and, as of March 2016, our land is fully paid off!
Our campaign goal is $1 million. We hope to break ground in early 2018 with the intention of moving into our new permanent home later that year. There is still a long way to go in a short amount of time, be we serve a mighty God!
Thank you to everyone who has given so generously and faithfully. By working together and being obedient to God’s direction in our lives, He will get us there.
Grow Your Faith
At Southbridge, our goal is to merely be a vessel through which God can draw others closer to Him to grow in a personal relationship with Jesus. The idea of growth—the central focus of this campaign—begins with the growth of individual relationships with Christ.
Grow Our Story
A building will not magically make Southbridge a stronger church. But having a place to gather, serve, and welcome those who need a place of comfort will give us a resource God can use to love and serve our community through Southbridge.
Grow His Church
Having a place to welcome those in need, host outreach events, and create a comfortable environment for those who may have never set foot in a church to experience God, will open the door for a conversation with the world. This will help us spread his Word into our mission field of Statesboro, the surrounding areas, and ultimately throughout the world.
1 Corinthians 3:7-11
7 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 8 The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. 9 For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.
10 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
