What is a Missional Community?
Missional Communities are our small groups at Southbridge. We believe we were all made to fulfill a great mission (Matt. 28:18-20) and that we are made to be immersed in a encouraging and life-giving community while doing it! (Hebrews 10:24-25). We do not simply want to make disciples, but make disciples who go out and make other disciples. Each of our Missional Communities are a little different, but they all follow three core rhythms.
What are Missional Community Rhythms?
Rhythms are what we consider to be vital to the health and effectiveness of our church and Missional Communities. Each group focuses on one rhythms while also incorporating the other two. The three rhythms are:
A Conversation with Jesus – Focuses on digging into a study with your community
A Conversation with Each Other – Focuses on meeting as a group each week, sharing a devotion, a meal, and good conversation
A Conversation with the World – Focuses on getting out into the world each week, having a devo with some like-minded people, having fun, and inviting others to come along.
How do I join a Missional Community?
