Southbridge Parent Conference- March 6, 2022.

We are excited to announce that Dr. Richard Ross will be leading a parents conference at Southbridge Community Church on Sunday March 6th at 9:30am for all Bridge Kids and Bridge Students parents.

Dr. Richard Ross has served as professor of student ministry at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary since 2000. His entire life has focused on seeing Christ glorified in the lives of teenagers and their parents and leaders. He served as a local-church student pastor for 30 years. Overlapping part of that time was 16 years of service as the student ministry consultant at LifeWay Christian Resources.

Dr. Ross is husband to LaJuana, who has joined him in a lifetime of loving teenagers. They are the parents of Clayton.

Since its inception, Richard has served as the spokesperson for the international True Love Waits movement.

9:30 am conference - "Making a Spiritual Impact on Your Child and Teenager." Strategy to establish healthy and God-honoring patterns. “After high school, about half of church youth walk away from the church and about half stay engaged. Teenagers who walk in faith for a lifetime tend to have parents who made a spiritual impact on them at home. This inspirational session will give parents (and grandparents) very specific instruction in how to lead their own children and teenagers in the home.”

11am service - Dr. Ross will share a message with a special focus on parents/families and the supreme majesty of Christ.
