Hi! My name is Charlie Brownley. I’m a native of eastern North Carolina, and my wife Meegan and I have been married since 2009. We have three kids – Kyle, Hudson, and Karis. As a family, we love to travel, read books, watch movies, hang out with friends, and do ministry together. 
 
I’m a native of eastern North Carolina and came to faith in 2008 while serving as a Probation/Parole officer for the state of North Carolina.  In 2012, shortly after the birth of our first child, the LORD called me to ministry. I received my M.Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in International Church Planting and am currently pursuing my Doctor of Ministry degree with a concentration in discipleship and missions. 
 
I have served in a variety of ways in churches in North Carolina, Missouri, Georgia, as well as a missionary to Southeast Asia.  This experience has served to equip me for ministry here at Southbridge as we seek to make and develop disciples who make disciples here in Statesboro and around the world. 
 
As a disciple-maker, my desire is to see people grow in their affections for, and obedience to, Christ. As the Associate Pastor of Southbridge, my desire is to equip the saints of Southbridge for the ministry God has called them to. In all of this, my aim is to glorify God and make much of Him.
